After a long and grueling winter during which most of us have been cooped up indoors for a lot of the time, it’s not surprising that everyone’s chomping at the bit and ready for a night out. Perfect timing, you might say, for Cedarburg’s 5th annual ladies night out, Sip, Shop & Stroll, organized by the Cedarburg Chamber of Commerce, and slated for Thursday, May 15. Close to 70 businesses, pubs and restaurants in the historic district will stay open till 9pm, offering unique bargains and special deals which are aimed to appeal to females of all ages, from college graduates to baby boomers. Adding to the fun will be the dashing Cedarburg studs strategically scattered along Washington Avenue to sell raffle tickets, and easily recognizable by their perky red bow ties. During the evening, visit Cedar Creek Settlement for wine tasting, great bargains and funky live music. And allow time for the Cedarburg Cultural Center where ladies will be encouraged to get silly with their friends in a free photo booth, determine what the future has in store with the help of famed numerologist Madame Claudette, and shake their tail feathers as they learn how to salsa. Sip, Shop & Stroll is going to be a night to remember!
