We love living in Cedarburg because beautiful Lake Michigan is located right in our backyard! Enjoy aquatic activities like canoeing and kayaking on the lake and nearby rivers, cast a line with some fishing, or have a picnic on the beach and watch the gentle waves lap on the shoreline. Some of the best beaches in the area are right nearby, including Port Washington North Park as well as Harrington Beach State Park, all wonderful places to visit for an afternoon of aquatic adventures. There are places nearby to rent canoes and kayaks like at PaddleBreak Adventures as well as boat rentals and fishing charters at the McKinley Marina North Docks. 2) Enjoy Outdoor Activities
Gear up for tee time and go for a hole-in-one with world-class golfing near the Inn. Hawthorne Hills Golf Course and Edgewater Golf Club are only a 10-15 minute drive and are both great courses, perfect for taking in the beautiful weather and enjoying an afternoon out on the green. Another great way to enjoy the outside is the Ozaukee Interurban Trail. Hike or bike along this massive 30-mile trail and see the natural beauty of the surrounding area with mid-trail access right by the Inn to the west. Both Erik’s Bike Board Ski and Cedar Creek Outdoors rent bikes and are located close by, or you can always bring your own!

Anville Pub & Grille is a unique eatery located in a restored 19th-century blacksmith shop with a charming rustic atmosphere and delicious comfort food like their Blacksmiths Loaded Grilled Cheese and Short Rib Shepherd’s Pie. Many of these restaurants also have excellent cocktails and drinks, but if you’re looking for a more curated location then we highly recommend The Fermentorium Brewery & Tasting Room as it’s only a 5-minute drive from the Inn. They feature a rotating selection of local Wisconsin brews and have a hip, upscale atmosphere.
