Last Free Fairs in Midwest :: Washington House Inn

One of the Last Free Fairs in the Midwest to Open July 30

Sauntering through Firemen’s Park in Cedarburg during the Ozaukee County Fair, prepare for your eyes and ears to be assailed by a veritable cacophony of sights and sounds. In the animal barns you’ll hear the gentle lowing of cattle, squeals of piglets, barking of dogs and whinnying of horses as 4-H youngsters groom and take care of a few last-minute details before entering the judge’s ring to show off the animals they’ve lovingly cared for since birth. In the Youth Building, submitted by young and old Ozaukee County residents, a huge selection of projects is displayed creatively for all to admire – from multi-colored quilts to couture clothing, woodwork to fine art, produce and floral displays to mouthwatering bakery, and so much more. Live music from popular local bands is offered at numerous stages located throughout the grounds; take in the Demolition Derby, truck pulls, chainsaw carving, and check out the farm equipment on display.

Introduce yourself to Mr. & Miss Ozaukee who will be wandering the grounds, and treat yourself to a cream puff and other tasty treats offered by vendors from early morning through closing time.
